Week 23: Pregnancy

This post is a whole 2 days late. I’ve been busy getting ready for my week long trip to Seattle and haven’t had too much time to blog, let alone look good enough to have my picture taken. We were going out last night, so I actually got dressed and took the opportunity.

What’s going on with Everleigh?  This week she’s the weight of a large mango…or about a lb. Except that I know she isn’t. She’s actually 1 lb 6 oz. WOAH, right! Bigger than I thought she was! At least that’s what the doctor says. She’s measuring at 24 weeks 5 days already! I’ve got one big baby on my hands!

How am I doing? MUCH better now that we got the results back from our test and we know our little girl is healthy and only has minor kidney issues at this point.

How’s my appetite? Paleo, Paleo, Paleo. Yum! Yum! Yum!

What happened this week? Big doctors appointment. Great news. Packing. Cooking.

Randomness of the week:

  • I cooked 7 meals in 1 day
  • Packing stinks
  • Snuggles with hubbles
  • Everleigh is HUGE!
  • I’ve gained about 23 lbs*

This is because I went to the doctor, and when I get weighed there it’s always a few lbs more than my at home scale.

About jaymeepatterson

I started life with the belief that, in today's times, a woman must have a big-time career, be completely independent, and, essentially, be the sum of "I am woman, hear me roar." As I grew up the common dream of "prince charming" started worming its way into my brain. One day, in college, while I was planning the next move on my road toward a nursing career I realized something odd. I was in love. Soon after I was engaged and then married. Shortly into my marriage I realized two things. 1. I was not happy with what I was working toward. 2. Why can't the idea of an independent, chic, housewife exist? So, I created it! Well, maybe not, but I did start living it. As I was living this dream life a genius thought came to mind. Why not share this idea with the public? Share this notion of a chic woman who runs her home...from home! So here it is. Enjoy, ladies!
