Week 26: Pregnancy

Hey guys, I know I haven’t been doing much on here lately. It’s just hit me that I will have a daughter in about 3 months and…WOAH! There’s a lot to do! haha

What’s going on with Everleigh?  At 26 weeks Ev is the size of an english cucumber. I think those are pretty long cause she’s about 1 1/4 foot long. Crazy! She’s been moving around like crazy and keeping me up alllll night long.

How am I doing? Energized! Even thought I’m barely sleeping at night. I getup about 4 times a night to pee only to find a little trickle. I’m pretty sure she’s staying head down cause I just have to pee all day long. I’ve been getting things done left and right around here! I know the energy boost will subside soon so I’m trying to get as much done as possible.

How’s my appetite? Been pretty hungry lately. All day long pretty much.

What happened this week? This week was our first baby shower. We had a blast! We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives who gathered to celebrate this little girly. Also, my mom, Ryan’s mom, and our friend Heidi all pitched in on the baby furniture as our gift and we spent some time this week building it. It was a frustrating process but it is finally all done!

Randomness of the week:

  • Baby clothes don’t fold well
  • New desk to work at
  • Milkshakes
  • This baby has to come out…down there.
  • Not weighing myself anymore.

About jaymeepatterson

I started life with the belief that, in today's times, a woman must have a big-time career, be completely independent, and, essentially, be the sum of "I am woman, hear me roar." As I grew up the common dream of "prince charming" started worming its way into my brain. One day, in college, while I was planning the next move on my road toward a nursing career I realized something odd. I was in love. Soon after I was engaged and then married. Shortly into my marriage I realized two things. 1. I was not happy with what I was working toward. 2. Why can't the idea of an independent, chic, housewife exist? So, I created it! Well, maybe not, but I did start living it. As I was living this dream life a genius thought came to mind. Why not share this idea with the public? Share this notion of a chic woman who runs her home...from home! So here it is. Enjoy, ladies!
