Week 30: Pregnancy

What’s going on with Everleigh?  This week she weighs as much as a large head of cabbage. Her eyes are developing but they aren’t very keen. With 20/400 vision she will only be able to see objects a few inches from her face when she is born.

Maternity pictures 🙂

How am I doing? Still have terrible back pain and sometimes Ev’s kicks and punches HURT! I’m still pretty tired and get sick at night sometimes.

How’s my appetite? I ate a whole box of instant banana pudding to myself. Nuff said.

What happened this week? Well, this week was kina glum. Ryan and I were having some issues between the two of us that we are currently working out through love and the help of God. Also, we had to put down our beloved cat, Chicken, because he couldn’t breathe and was not recovering through treatment. We cried a lot of tears. Holding him in my arms as he drifted off was the hardest things I’ve done in a long time. Then we came home and buried him in the back yard. We are slowly recovering from the hard week.

Randomness of the week:

  • Marriage is hard
  • RIP Chicken
  • Still thirsty
  • Thirst means pee…all night long.
  • Love is patient and kind….it really is

About jaymeepatterson

I started life with the belief that, in today's times, a woman must have a big-time career, be completely independent, and, essentially, be the sum of "I am woman, hear me roar." As I grew up the common dream of "prince charming" started worming its way into my brain. One day, in college, while I was planning the next move on my road toward a nursing career I realized something odd. I was in love. Soon after I was engaged and then married. Shortly into my marriage I realized two things. 1. I was not happy with what I was working toward. 2. Why can't the idea of an independent, chic, housewife exist? So, I created it! Well, maybe not, but I did start living it. As I was living this dream life a genius thought came to mind. Why not share this idea with the public? Share this notion of a chic woman who runs her home...from home! So here it is. Enjoy, ladies!
